If you haven't rowed or coxed before, you'll be taught how to row in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere with other people of similar abilities.

Novicing is a well-structured programme, covering all the basics of rowing and giving you all the tools you need to progress as far as you wish to take it - some of you will only ever want to row with your friends, and have a laugh, others will want their place in the 1st VIII.

We mainly row in VIIIs - the main type of boat used for the competitions on the Cam. These are stable, fun and hopefully fast!
